  My girlfriend and I had an awful experience with Brittany. Brittany was the listing agent for the home that we had purchased this year in October. The process went very smoothly up until AFTER the closing. We had agreed to give the prior owners 5 days after closing to have everything moved out and cleaned. On the week of the closing, our realtor, and Brittany had been communicating about whether or not the prior owners will need all 5 days. We were told “no they shouldn’t” and that they would only need 2-3days. So we planned to move by the 3rd of November. We signed October 27 and the house closed on Monday, the 31st. We loaded up a U-haul, and were ready to move by the afternoon. It did not according to plan. We had a U-haul sit with all of our belongings until 5pm Sunday evening. She had DAYS to let us know that her clients would not be ready, but instead, waited. She had known for almost a week that were planning the move on the 3rd. If she had just communicated instead of ignoring our realtor, we would not have been upset about it. She gave us her word. This was not even the most upsetting part; when we stepped foot inside the home that we had just purchased, the place was disgustingly dirty. She had promised to have the place professionally cleaned.. it most definitely did not look like it. What kind of cleaning service forgets to wipe down windows? Grime, dust, dirt and everything in between. It has been 11 days and we are still cleaning. The prior owners damaged some walls when they were moving out their furniture, and some of the repairs to be made in the repair addendum were not done properly. I had asked if she had walked through the house after the cleaning and she replied, and I quote: “I do not always have time to walk through homes after someone moves out and there is a 5pm deadline, I live about 45 minutes away from this home.“ We walked into a dirty house. I believe we did not deserve to walk into something like that. As first time home buyers, we had a horrible experience.
