  Looking back, the school was amazing and more old style. From 2009 to 2014, things didn't change much until 2017 arrived. First off, the play ground area. There was a wooden structure and it made the playground more old school, like it's from the 1900's, which it may have been till it was taken down and they rebuilt a sad, sad play area. There's this thing that was built and they called it the "marimba". Literally, the thing did not make a sound, unless you hit it hard. Again, it's sad. oh, the new principal seems like she doesn't care about the students who went to school. I had an old friend who has a younger sister who is still in Lewis. I heard that her younger sister was getting bullied for wearing blue, for having curly hair. I know, I know. Little kids wouldn't understand but they should be taught how to be respectful. The principal was informed and she said that she'll do something. You know what that "something" she did. She went into her office, sat down, put her feet up and act like she's done with her job for the day. Mr. Laur, a former principal who worked there for many years. He was a great principal, there were a few students who didn't like him but at least he did what he needed to do. He was a great principal. I feel bad for these kids. They have the most ungrateful, most ignorant principal ever. #bringbackmrlaur
