  I have had several encounters with the Pain Clinic. Three were for steroid injections into my neck. The fourth was in preparation for surgery. I found everyone to polite, reassuring, and professional. I especially liked Dr. Schrattenholzer who did my injections. I had to inform him, however, before the procedure the first and third times that it was diagnostic with a hope of therapy not the other way around. My guess is that my referring physician was unclear. Yes, it takes a lot of time, however, I was warned about the time that I would have to spend.
