  In January, 2016 DGC installed two lifetime guaranteed chimney caps on our house, one small and one large. Dave the installer was prompt, friendly and helpful. So far so good.
  
  But a few weeks ago the large cap blew off of the chimney during a wind storm. Fortunately no one was hurt when it crashed onto our back porch. I have called DGC four times now and left a message three times asking for help with no response from them. The third time I called, their message box was full and I wondered if DGC had gone out of business. I tried a fourth time recently and was able to leave another message, so apparently someone there is either listening to messages without responding or just deleting all of them without listening. I would suggest avoiding this company like the plague, but I don't even know if it is still in business or not. What a disappointment.
