  Officer Budworth is the most amazing cop ever. He literally saved me after my soon to be extremely husband assaulted me horribly landing him in jail for strangulation felony. I was able to get him out of my car as I fought for my life. I drove off and turned the corner. I saw a police SUV. I jumped out bawling and seeing white dots still, marks from being strangled all over my neck and chest. He was there just getting on duty, happened to live one block away this entire time. He's my angel and I can not thank him enough. Officer Budworth, you were in the right place at the right time. You deserve a metal award in my eyes. Thank you so much and the other officer from tracking him down.
  When it comes to it, some hate the law. Some people prejudge all officers and think they are bad, they all want to harass you and use force. Not at all. Be thankful and please respect all people, police, as they are doing their job and officer Budworth changed my mind a lot, gave me an entire new perspective. They are not out to get you, unless you break the law. But what is MOST IMPORTANT, they are here to help you. They are on your side when you follow the law. I can never repay you officer Budworth. You saved my life I feel. He is so kind, straight forward and a no bs guy. He is so sweet and got me all the resources needed to help me. You are number one officer in Portland in my eyes. Thank you so much.
  One side note: if you are a victim of domestic violence, not stay quiet. Speak up, it's your voice that needs to be heard. Don't be scared. They have an amazing team to help victims of domestic violence (both men and women who have been abused). Your voice is needed so please, full cooperation will help to ensure your safety is #1. I love my hometown and living here I'll never leave. The Portland Police are here to protect you. They took that vow and he proved that I can take comfort in knowing my safety is just as much as a priority as it is for me. Speak up, silence goes nowhere. If you need to talk, victims advocates are here to help. Spent an hour on the phone with a gal named Julie after this. Thank you as well.
  Press charges. If you let people get away with almost murder, they will continue. I am going to talk to his supervisor (unknown if he reads Google reviews?) But his higher up needs to know just how much he saved me. I'm still in so so much pain but my mind is at ease knowing Budworth took him in and I am filing a restraining order tomorrow as the officer said. I leave Officer Budworth a 5+, no.... 10+. Keep this guy and have him train officers because if there were more officers out there like you, you made me feel like the nightmare situation was over. A relief I don't have to worry. I keep thanking you but I will continue to and hope to hug you big time for saving me and making such a positive impact on my life in such a hard time. Officers put their lives on the line. I never took that phrase for what it was, now, I do. You are amazing, be blessed and thank you from the bottom of my heart
